Where are you based and do you travel?
I am located north of New Orleans on the Northshore. I do travel depending on the location and charge a travel fee depending on the distance.
How long have you been doing this?
I first picked up a camera in 2011 and took pictures of wildlife. In 2020 I took it more seriously and started this business the following year. Now I work with individuals, families, and brands as well as equestrians.
Do you retouch photos?
I do retouch photos after delivery for $15 a photo if desired.
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be uploaded to your own digital gallery and emailed 2-4 weeks after your session.
Whats your turn around time?
My turn around time is 2 - 4 weeks.

Can you help us with planning?
Yes! I have photographed at many locations and can help you find the perfect spot. I also have a style guide to help you plan your session style.
How far out do you book?
It depends - send me a few dates that work for you and I will check my calendar. Sometimes I can do a session a few days out, sometimes a week or so.
What should we do for an engagement session?
Pick a place that you'll feel the most like yourselves in and where you're comfortable. I am happy to find the perfect place for your and your fiancé, just send me an email at annettelayphotography@gmail.com and we can chat!
What should we wear?
After you book, I will send you a style guide depending on the type of session!
